Disclaimer: I played blood (early, it’s changed a lot since) to 62 on beta and then unholy to 58. I have no experience with frost builds.
All 3 trees are good dps, within a couple hundred dps of each other.
All 3 trees are have viable tank specs at least in 5 mans (and most likely raids).
All 3 trees are good at solo play.
Blood: heals group for damage done. This is typically thought of as the pvp tree.Frost: Good burst and single target damage, big crits. Highest survivability(maybe, still waiting on some theorycraft work and raid parses)
Unholy: Aoe kings and highest threat. Typically thought of as the best soloing spec because of aoe ability, movement speed increase, and the permanent ghoul pet.
Once we get some heroics under our belt and maybe some naxx experience, we’ll try to come up with some “cookie cutter” builds.
For leveling, I went with http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMVZZfMhhhckGcqMcsut but I should have probably picked up on a pale horse to make things a bit quicker.
