It's my understanding (haven't tried it yet) that any enchant that does not have a level restriction will work on an heirloom item.
For those of you that are planning on rolling new characters, I have a horde enchanter with several popular enchants. I'm going to try some of these out with my lock and if it works I'll definitely farm the mats for my rogue when cataclysm hits.
I think I have most of the popular stuff except for crusader, so let me know if you need something!
